Dance

To my daughter's dismay, I love to dance. I used to dance when I was a child, but ended up choosing swimming over dance, while my daughter reversed that! To my shock, I somehow ended up as a dance mom, but embraced it. I will be forever thankful that my daughter found something that brings her so much joy, but that I also managed to find life long friends through her dance journey as well.

​I have been a part of the Nutcracker for five years as a parent. I immediately fell in love with the family-like atmosphere that my daughter felt when dancing with them. I then became a Party Parent and found myself more engrossed into the world of the Nutcracker. Now it feels like it has always been a part of my life.

Inspiration

The 2024 season marks my second year as a Board Member. I feel like last year was such an amazing learning experience and I cannot wait for what the future holds with the Nutcracker with this amazing Board. My inspiration for joining the board came from the friendships I made being behind the scenes and the absolute joy it is to watch a show from start to finish and know that you had something to do with making the magic happen. My contributions to the board include being a Prop Master backstage, technology, social media, and updating our forms and handbook. I am great at helping whenever someone needs a second hand!
