Bio

"Hello! My name is Courtney Chagnon and I have danced with Melrose Youth Ballet since the 5th grade, volunteered behind the scenes after my dancing days came to a close and pleased to say this my third year as a board member for MYB. My roles as a board member vary, but mostly, I help out our wonderful president Margaret with costume fittings, making sure everything from the costumes, to the props, and headpieces are all set and ready to go. I also help bring everything up to the hall and make sure everything is ready to get our Sundays started."- Courtney Chagnon

Inspiration 

"Seeing these dancers every Sunday doing what they love reminds me of when I was a dancer myself being in this wonderful ballet. I see myself as a young 10 year old that walked through those same doors and it is so bittersweet. This ballet has meant the world to me ever since I stepped on that stage and I’m so grateful to still be able to contribute my time helping out wherever I’m needed."-Courtney Chagnon
